    Vista Media Center Plugins

Does anyone know of a definitive list or could themselves list some useful VMC plugins?

Just looking to boost functionality and theres always something out there you don't know about! A weather plugin for VMC would be a good start...I know there was one for MCE 2005.

Is it stable now? MC never worked well for me in the early days of VMC.

I'm on x64 and TBH its still not that stable but my VMC is the only telly/playback device I have right now so I put up with it.
Unless someone else knows of a better way to play most codecs on VMC.

Playing? Well I can do that now with a codec pack - http://shark007.testbox.dk/

What VMC lacks is the finer control - i can't FF or R odd codecs (skip and skip back work) or control the sub stream in VMC itself (although it's easy to configure the codec to always show english subs if present). I can live with that in all honesty.

    Re: Vista Media Center Plugins

I found an excellent plug-in last night that allows BBC iPlayer, 4OD and ITV on demand services to be played through the VMC interface. Its called TunerFreeMCE, definitely worth a look.
