    question about vista activation

I'm thinking of buying a vista retail version, but am wondering something about the activiation process.

Does the activiation take place by phone or online? cos i do fresh installs frequently, i dont want to be on the phone every months activitaing it or what not.

    thankks

    Re: question about vista activation

There is a file which you can copy in the system 32 folder, from your old install to your new install, and it should activate the os for you.

wpa.dbl. You could try that to avoid it all together..never tried it myself just heard it somewhere
