    Angry OCR reading problem-help!

I have this pdf file downloaded and tried to convert it to doc so I could have a further use of it.Basically I'm in need of copying the content of this file whether it's pdf or doc for the translation purposes.Simply would like to copy and paste into translation tool to help me out with translation. The original text-saved in pdf format is written in Hebrew. I managed to turn pdf into doc but something must have gone wrong because it came up in form of symbols instead of usual print
    Why?What shall I do?
BTW I used one of those free pdfs conversion programs...cannot remember its name but used by friend of mine.i'm a novice anyway
    Plz help!
    cheers

Don't know if it will work, but try searching for 'hebrew english translator' on Google. There should be a plenty of websites offering real-time translation. Often, it's not great and won't translate properly but it might be worth a try.

Ok, it's not about translator I've already got a licenced one but I have no use of it because I'm not able to paste potential text in it.This is why...---D
Well, not been precise enough in post above due to lack of knowledge in this field.
The original document in pdf is a scan of hebrew book.A picture. So
what I did used one of those (pdf to doc ) programs to turn it into
doc hoping it would be readable. After that I opened doc using OCR
software named READ IRIS pro .But instead of hebrew symbols this
software brought up some very weird symbols not the usual prints.
So I wonder now what Ihave I made wrong?

Does the OCR software have Hebrew language packs?

The ocr software is trying to interpret the symbols as english text, and so you are seeing the results of the conversion.

Hebrew language pack is what you need for the OCR document. A quick search on the net reveals Hebrew support for READ IRIS Pro 9

Scan the PDF straight in to READ IRIS, forget any conversions.. the software will pick up the characters from the image an convert for you.

    hope that helps
