i've had to reboot 100 times or something
then i tried 2 back up all my files, took ****ing ages thanx to the 1 min ****
then i reinstalled windows (no format) and its just as bad, now only it says i have a virus everytime i boot, which mac****ee can't delete or clean, and my taskbar is completly fagged. i've tried the "ptaches" and they dont work, so i'm formatting tomorrow. also, don't doa system restore, it makes it worse.

I does believe that MS have stoped supporting 98, as well as 95 and NT4. But, I could be wrong... I usually are

And, the windows update site seems a little slow atm, might be this virus hitting home there as well.

Get a firewall (Not the XP one) and block ports 135-140 until you can download the patch.
If you PC starts shutting down, go to start > run and type shutdown -a

If you don't want to be informed of the exploit, go to admin tools > services > Remote Procedure Call (RPC) > properties > recovery > and change all the options to Take No Action.

    But download that patch!!!
