    Internet JPEGs Only Savable As Bitmaps

    I've noticed that when I try to save JPEGs from the internet, I only get the option to save as .bmp. I had this problem before, but it disappeared when I reformatted with my new motherboard/CPU. It came back recently, and now my hardware is almost completely new to what it was before.

    Wondering if anyone knows of what cause this e.g. Windows problem, virus.

    Thanks

    Mike

    Cache? You mean the Temporary Internet Files from Tools/Internet Options...? Sorry, I'm a bit thick today.

    Thanks Agent and Caged, problem's sorted! Took about five minutes though - too much crap, methinks.

    Just out of curiosity, why does it decide to save as bitmaps?

    I belive its a bug in IE, i dont think there is any reason why it would want to save it as a JPEG as opposed to a BMP :S

    Thinking back, AOL does that. Took me a while to figure out the solution, can't remember now. Bloody annoying though.

    Furthermore, I like to keep my cache small (80MBish) so that when I do need to clear it, it doesn't take half an hour.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
