I am trying to install Windows XP Home SP2 on a RAID 0+1 setup. I have a xfx nvidia 680i lt mobo with integrated RAID controller. I have setup my RAID with the built in configuration tools and my POST reports the drive system as healthy. When I try to install Windows it says I do not have a Hard drive available to install to. I have tried pressing F6 at the startup of the installer to give it the drivers it needs but am unable to do so because it requires a floppy drive/disk. Neither of which i posses. I saw a post on here about someone being able to add SATA controlers to there Windows installl disk by changing some files and reburning the disk. I personally do not posses enough knowledge to do this acurately or safely and was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.
