    2X1Oj3RA.exe

Anyone know anything about this? I've googled it with no luck.

I'm having a problem at the moment where every few minutes my comp goes back to the desktop or loses focus on the frame depending on what I'm doing. If I'm playing WAR it will go to the desktop like I have alt+tabed out, the game does not close down and I can just tab back in again but it's getting a pain in the bum now. If I'm on browsing the web when it does it, it does not close the browser down but it will put the desktop on the top so I have to click the page again before I can carry on.

I'm prolly not making much sense I've been going through my processes and found 2X1Oj3RA.exe is running when it happens. I can end this and it won't do it for a while but then all of a sudden it will happen again and this process is running again, despite me closing it earlier.

    Anyone have any ideas please?

    Re: 2X1Oj3RA.exe

The virus/trojan/worm/spyware you've been infected with coausing this is not likely to be called "2X1Oj3RA.exe", looks like it is creating a new random name and running under that to make it more difficult to trace.

Find the actual .exe on your system to see where it is and check it's properties, there might be something in there you can google to find out more.

    Re: 2X1Oj3RA.exe

I've searched for 2X1Oj3RA.exe on my system and it's come up with that. Checking the properties is giving me no new information on the files. Can I just delete these?

Yes, but other similar ones will probably appear.

    Re: 2X1Oj3RA.exe

You could try deleting it, but if the process is currently running in your system it'll just recreate it, usually with a new random name. You might have some success killing the process then deleting the file.

First thing to try is deleting or renaming it outside of the current windows system - either boot with somelike like BartPE, or use the windows recovery console, or simply access the drive in another computer.

That should work with the majority of viruses/trojan/spyware - some are a bit more cunning and require a bit more work; it's worth trying it as a first step though.

    Re: 2X1Oj3RA.exe

Trash, i can not remember the exact trojan / virus / spyware that does this but there is something out that that starts to create new process so has to avoid being picked up

i would download a bunch of tools and update them the best you can and then disable the network, reboot in safe mode and run each of the tools i would also check the run reg key to see if there are any entry's that you do not recognise, the other thing i would check the is windows service tab for any blank services and such.
