Run Before Standby And After Resume???

I asked this question in a seperate unrelated thread but figured i get more response in a seperate thread
Basically is there a program that will run a file such as an exe or bat just before the system enters standby ie after the standby button is pressed and then when the system resume run another file... I have seen some vb scripts around the net which do this for other apps but seeing as my vb knowledge is limited i couldn't make them run my files... anyone got any ideas...

if you post the VB code I may be able to help you with it re changing it to run your BAT/EXE files.
