Can i downgrade Vista to XP?

I have an OEM version of Vista 64 Home Premium (which i bought from Scan, rather than it coming with my PC). I have just about had enough of Vista now and i was wondering if i could downgrade my licence to XP?

It's a totally different operating system, so unfortunately not. You would need to purchase a Windows XP licence.

I realise its a different operating system. But Microsoft allows some users to down grade the licence to XP, so they can geta copy of XP from somewhere and Microsoft will activate it based on your Vista licence. Obviously you wont be able to use Vista afterwards.

I know OEM Business and Ultimate users can downgrade, many have, i was wondering if any knows if i can?
