Windows 7 details emerge at PDC 2008

I hope this hasn't been mentioned yet, I couldn't find it anywhere but here goes

Windows 7 was talked about in-depth today at the PDC where many new features were demonstrated

To be honest I wasn't looking forward to this, but I think microsoft have done a decent job so far. Just hope they differenciate the UI a bit more from Vista.

Also big news was the new iteration of Office will be able to work from within 'standard' browsers.

It does look surprisingly good so far doesn't it? I hope that they're not just promising more than will eventually go into the final build though.... Vista was looking quite good once upon a time. I'm looking forward to watching some of the videos.
