    F@h

I may be able to start running F@H at school, i'm gonna speak to the IT technicians

I ran CPUz on a computer today to find it had an E8500! yes an E8500! there's 30 of them in one room, then 16 more rooms with 30 or so computers in, some E6320s, E6600s and other various intel P4 and AMD 4800+ etc... There's also two rooms with about 20 imacs in,

Question is, would all of these be able to fold on startup, as i know they get turned on and off alot, is there a way round it?

This probably wont happen on all of them, but if i could get it in the e8500 room it'd be good anyway!

    It's 4.98*

    Re: F@h

well if you just put the normal client on them all, you can just put it in the startup folder, that works.

you better put the team number at 69776, don't let them techie's get any funny ideas of making their own team or anything stupid like that!
and make sure they all use the same username so we can keep track of how much they actually fold altogether

    Re: F@h

You can run the standard CPU client as a service, so get that installed and it should be good to go whenever the PC is on

    Yep, install as a service
Or maybe the GPU client, which is more productive.

doesn't that require a nVidia CUDA card?
which these PCs most likely won't have.
althought they do have E8500s, so who knows.
