    arrg...another stupid mistake.

    Hi.

I was installing win2k3 server and had deleted the partition in fdisk. I was about to format/convert it to NTFS. Then i noticed there was another area of partitioned space of 24mb. So i erased the partiton, then realised i had just deleted the stuff on my USB drive

Is there anyway to get it back? i didnt format it, only deleted the partition. Hasnt got anything important on, just some windows themes...

it the usb drive was fat32, you MIGHT ghave some luck with the linux app Parted. It's horrible to use, but it can find deletd partitions & re-write the correct data to get access to lost files.
