    Unhappy Opera

    well i have a small problem with opera at the moment...
    whenever it loads some banners.... like the new egg one above and many others it crashes...
    at the moment i am unable to use this forum in opera and have been forced to revert to IE...
    *shudders*

    any help would be appreciated!

    Im using opera version 7.20 and i am typing this in it, so you must have a corrupt install of it or perhaps a different version than my one which might have some bugs within it.

    P.S. the latest version is 7.23

    Try exporting your bookmarks then removing opera and then installing the latest version and then import your bookmarks into it

    I'm using 7.50 Preview2 which works fine as does 7.23.
    So it isn't an inherent problem with Opera it is either a setup or install problem.

    could it have been a problem with either the opera install or the flash install??

    Alright...
    i uninstalled opera, and re installed opera then reinstalled flash AND its not working...
    /me crys
    AND to top it all off i forgot to save my bookmarks

    Sorry to here about opera still not working , try this program to recover the opera folder or the bookmarks at least
    http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/download.htm

    The bookmarks are normally called opera6.adr
