CPU client - help me get it running again :)

i've posted this in 2 other threads so far but no-one has helped me, so i've decided to make a new thread for it.

this is the error message that comes up when i try to run the cpu client:

i've tried reinstalling it and looking for the log files, but i really don't know what do delete.
my CPU is ORTHOS stable for 8 hours, so it's not a stability problem.
anyone know what i need to delete in the log or in the registry?
anyone seen this error before and know how to fix it?

    many thanks in advance

No idea mate, never ran that client myself.

I know that wasn't helpful but you wanted some kind of response so there you go.

    Uninstall
    Delete folder
    Install again

Repeat 10x then it might work.

    Or

    Reformat
    Install windows
    Install FAH

Re: CPU client - help me get it running again :)

just for the sake of anyone else who gets this problem.. here's how i fixed it:

this will probably only work for Vista

    1) make sure the client is installed.
    2) go to: C:\Users\'your username'
    3) do this: this right here
    4) then make sure 'show hidden files and folders' is ticked
    5) go into 'Roaming' and find the F@H folder, delete it, then uninstall the F@H client from your computer and re-install it, should fix things

When I had the problem didn't need to delete the roaming fah... just uninstalled and re-installed...

Re: CPU client - help me get it running again :)

Could be a bad WU, standard procedure; delete the work folder and any "FahCore_xx" files.

Your client will then automatically download a new FahCore and WU when next run.
