A2 Computing project

I'm supposed to be well on with my final project by now but I haven't come up with any ideas
It needs to be fairly complex up to 2 months work. Most of the projects have some form of database integration.
I would love to do some kind of game but it must be educational as part of the spec is the project needs to solve a problem an end-user(s)
I have learnt in VB but have used the C# XNA environment too and would be great to build my project as a windows or 360 game using that.
Any ideas?

make your end user a military institution and do a war game focused on training...

you get to make a game, and you stick with the spec, a database is far easier for the project though...
