Explorer?
Only use command line in Linux.... Not sure what type of windows manager you would classify that as...
I'm a GNOME man myself.
Just to be a pedant, if by Avant in your poll you mean this - I'd argue against it's inclusion, I wouldn't class it as a 'Window Manager' really. But perhaps I'm wrong, we'll wait until someone with more knowledge comes along!

AfterStep is the only one I can think of justnow, I'm not sure if it's still under development or not though.
/me wanders off to Google.
Edit: Although, you should ignore my pedantry - GNOME should really be Metacity, and KDE should be....kWin I think (edit update: Yeah, Wikipedia agrees, that'll do me!), GNOME/KDE are Desktop Environments - but we all know what you mean so I'll zip it for now!

Another vote for Gnome here.
Keep meaning to give enlightenment a go, looks good.

It all depends what I am doing really. Gnome and KDE are both very good but compiz is fantastic to show off with

Feel free to call this nitpicking, but there are two different questions here merged together - a "window manager" controls window behaviour & look & feel, but its role stops there - it doesn't handle things like your desktop.
GNOME for example, is not a window manager. It's usually referred to as a "desktop environment", which includes the bars at the top & bottom (gnome-panel), the desktop (nautilus), and the window manager (metacity OR compiz). You *can* mix & match, if you're so inclined. You could use Compiz in KDE, or KWin in XFCE4, or XFWM4 in Enlightenment... and so on.
It's still an interesting poll (and as an Ubuntu user I have GNOME w/ Compiz) but for the interested, there's a little more info
Gnome is the only one I have used
Gnome (For both Sun JDE for work, and Ubuntu for play)
Gnome is not a window manager, it's just a desktop environment.
The standard window manager in a Gnome environment is Metacity.
For me, GNOME with Compiz. On a PC with crappy graphics, GNOME with Enlightenment.
If you're running GNOME without Compiz give Enlightenment a go. In Ubuntu it even integrates with GDM to give a new session option.
