    Superfetch

I've noticed superfetch is preloading media files into RAM.
This is all well and good, except that usually i watch them and am extremely unlikely to watch them again for months, possibly longer.
I don't want superfetch to just cache boot files etc and I can't find a way to set it to not prefetch certain types of files. Is it possible?
One reason I suspect it chooses them is because I have 8GB of RAM and it can't find anything else to fill my RAM with.
Before anyone suggests disabling it, that's not an option. It far too good to disable just because it sometimes gets it wrong.

    Re: Superfetch

I've searched for this before (wanted it to prefetch my games ) but there was no solution that I could find. So I just made it fetch boot and system files only.

I wish you could exclude certain files, that would be fantastic.
