    Adobe problem

I am trying to open a manual ,still on the cd, using Adobe 9.0 Sometimes I can open a page or two at other times I cannot open any. I get the usual thing ie adobe is not responding. What I have never seen before is on the top task bar it shows the file as having .pdf extension followed in brackets by SECURED ie xxxxxxxxx.pdf(SECURED)-Adobe Reader
    Any ideas?

    Re: Adobe problem

Tried copying the PDF to the hard drive?

Tried an older version of Adobe Reader (which I presume you're referring to, as you don't specify)?

Tried alternative .PDF reader, such as Foxit Reader?
