Samba as a PDC

Anyone ever set up a linux box to be the primary domain controller (with roaming profiles)?

I've been trying various guides (which look reasonably simple) and am yet to have any luck, specifically at the moment I am trying to set up Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop.

So, has anyone out there in Hexus land had better luck at this? (I'm not so much looking for help regarding my problems, more just your experience in getting it working)

Eugh, so on the off chance it was just the fact the two laptops I tried weren't working, I tried my desktop and it worked fine. typical

So if an admin can delete this, that'd be grand
