can you be more clear? If you setup a dialup connection it should be a valid connection for Outlook to connect to the mailserver with, but I'm not sure that's what you mean.
Outlook will use default DUN connections you have set up already. Which OS and Outlook version you running?
Paul Boy, the only systems that will do this that I've heard of are ones that use an Exchange server and PBX that can be integrated with it.
I'm sure there must be something for desktop use using an old voice modem or something though.

I've seen a couple of systems that had a TAPI provider linked in with an Avaya PBX to enable users to dial phones from outlook contacts.
There is also unified messaging from exchange 2007 which is quite neat.
If you have a VOIP gateway then its also quite doable.
