Outlook Folder Size
Hi, I'm using Outlook 2000 SP3 and i have a query regarding my folder size, when i right click on my mailbox, and open Folder Size, i have two values, one which tells me the 'Folder Size' which is 0k, and another which tells me the 'Total Size (Fld+SubFld)' which is 84582k.
My question is what accounts for 'Folder Size'? Because i see a number of users with mailbox oversize, as a result of the 'Folder Size' being massive, yet i do not see what accounts for this?
Anyone know?

Re: Outlook Folder Size
First of all why are you still using Outlook 2000?
Total folder size is everything in your mailbox (OST or PST) including contacts, calendar items and of course mail.

Re: Outlook Folder Size
Because the company has not yet upgraded.
I know what makes up the total size, my question is what constitutes 'folder size'?

Re: Outlook Folder Size
folder size would be the emails which are in the root folder, all your emails are in the subfolder(s) so it is 0k
