gonna image vista and try it on my real machine sometime next week.

Has anone noticed that the circle timer thingy spins around faster giving the illusion that it is loading faster

There was actually a bug raised and implimented by one of the Logitech SqueezeCenter developers to speed up their spinning progress animations. Works too, it does feel faster when you do that

i thought about running it on a virtual machine but i couldn't be bothered to do it.

I may try it though over the coming weeks.

Just for your information, VMware does have a very good free version that although its quite cut down gets the job done quite nicely.

You cant create virtual machines with the VM player, you can only run machines with it.

Yeah, that is rather annoying, they have a free server version that creates machine files and images, but a desktop version which doesn't. And I haven't found any good free tools which creates VMware machine files and images either.

VMWare Server is, and I have it running W7 beta fine (even VMWare Tools works)

Oh well, it's already installed with virtualbox now. Will try vmware next time.... Googled Vmware and the website had a 30 day trial, so I thought you had to pay for it...
