Table of contents in Office 2007

When adding headings into the table of contents why does office 07 reformat the text to something horrible? Is there a way to stop it doing this or to tell it to format it to the way it was?

Re: Table of contents in Office 2007

You can change the default table of contents formats if you need to. Click on Table of Contents and select Insert Table of Contents... and then click Modify...

You can then modify the default settings for Table of Contents as you would a normal style. Is this the kind of thing you were looking for?
