Question Using "F Keys" as multimedia shortcut keys?

    Hi All,

Was just wondering if any one knows of any software i can download to turn my F keys on my keyboard into media shortcut keys.

So i hold Shift + F1 and Program one executes
Shift + F2 and Program two executes.

I ask this as i have got my self a new Saitek glowing keys K/B but it does not have any media/shortcut keys like my old Microsoft K/B had.

    Any ideas would appreciate.

    Cheers

Not sure on what software for mapping keys but you could download aimp2, amazing media player IMO as it uses just 7MB of ram while playing and supports individual mapping as standard(you can chose the audio output aswell ).

there was a program that stardock made which allowed you to bind certain keys to certain functions. Can't remember the name or find it on the stardock site though

edit: found it ( http://www.stardock.com/products/klp/ ) It does cost $9.95, and i'm pretty sure there'll be free programs that'll do the job just as well
