Best way to remove Ubuntu from dual boot??

I have Ubuntu on my work computer(a Dell) and I want to remove now as I do not use Linux at work anymore. I cannot reformat the whole thing as it has XP preinstalled and there applications already installed in XP that I do want to lose. Is there anyway to remove the Ubuntu partition and merge it back to the XP partition safely??

XP cannot do this partition merge, but the Ubuntu install CD can. You'll need to restore the Windows boot loader though (boot a Windows CD, load the recovery console, type "fixboot" then "fixmbr")
