    Windows 2003 1 User CAL

We have two servers hosted by a company. The servers are running windows 2003 and they are covered by a site license. We will be taking these servers inhouse soon so need to get our own licenses. They act as web/database servers so no windows users connect directly to them.

My Computer > Properties - shows the servers to be running Windows 2003 Server Standard edition.

Is it legal for me to buy a Windows 2003 Server 1 User CAL license for each machine? Seeing as no windows users will be connecting to them?

    Thanks

I think you can only buy them in batches of 5

Do the servers have OEM 2003 preinstalled?

Thought Win2003 came with 5 CALs or do you need more? You can purchase as many as you like really.
