    Office Enterprise 2007

I've recently installed Office Enterprise 2007 on my laptop (Windows XP) to upgrade the existing Office 2003. I've tried to install it onto my desktop (Vista Home Premium) to upgrade Office 2003 but it says it encountered an error and stops installing.

Anyone know any issues with this software?

    Thanks.

Hi Matty, thanks for your reply.

I uninstalled Office 2003 but it still does the same thing!

I've disabled AVG, Zone Alarm and System Mechanic - no change. I've tried it in safe mode - same thing.

    Any other suggestions?

Make sure you have .net 1.1 and .net 2 installed, also trying running the setup program on the cd as the administrator and see if it comes up with the same error

Does it give you any particular error? How about in the event log? Have you by any chance disabled UAC? If so try re-enabling it and see if that works.
