    Mac OS X under vmware

    Is it possible to install and run Mac OS X in vmware on a windows box?

    In a word no, it can't emulate the EFI the Macs use.

    PCWiz allegedly got a working one - though there are various legal/EULA violation ramifications arising if it does actually work, I believe.

    There are VM's available and working well. However as above the legalities are iffy - well they're not, it's not legal outright, but same goes for installing it on anything but a sMac.

    Hmmm, thanks guys. We need to validate one of our apps at work on mac, I guess I need to tell them to buy a mac!
