I have Nero 7 and like it myself but my nephew wants something different. What other CD/DVD burning software is as good if not better than Nero?

I'm using InfraRecorder and CDBurnerXP in Vista, both free. I had problems burning a non compliant DVD in one of them (can't remember which), so went hunting for a second program. Other than that, they are both excellent alternatives to the bloated Nero.
I use CDburnerXP pro and it is a fantastic program (freeware like SBT said)

Thanks guys. I will get him to try them out.
Imgburn. I like the way images can be queued up for burning on multiple burners. It's a lot less bloated than nero as well.
IMGburn and CDburnerXP get my vote too![]()
ImgBurn. Hands down the best out there.
how do you get on with your life with family and friends likes yours? They never give you any rest!

Ashampoo Burning studio 6 is also available for free.
He just wants one to burn like Nero does but without all the guff that come with it! I have tried CD Burner XP and it seems great.

Nero used to be great in the early days before it got bloated.
