    VLC (or Qt GUI question)

So on my Media PC, i have the DPI cranked all the way to 11. Or rather 150%.

This is great, all the applications I use respect this, and render nicely, except, VLC.

VLC is a handy backup when i'm using my keyboard and i'm outside of Media Center, but it dosen't properly scale with DPI, instead windows has to do a nasty StretchBlt, this makes the text horrible.

As i've never really used Qt or VLC that in depth, i was woundering if anyone knew a way of fixing this behaviour, i can't imagine that something like Qt would be such a bad team player and ignore accessibility

It's probably been built with Qt3, Qt4 has much better cross platform integration. I can't say for certain however, since I haven't played with Qt4 and DPI/accessibility adjustments on Windows.

i really do find that most cross platform GUI constraints result in that *java* experiance.
