    Windows sh** movie maker problem

Ok, so it's been a while since i last used it but wmm keeps crashing on me.
My media PC is a running vista 32 with an E6600 2 gig of ram and onboard intel graghics.
Second PC is as left with vista 64.
On my media PC wmm crashes as soon as i select the dvr-ms file to import. (treid a number of them)
My gaming PC lets me select the file but then crashes as soon as i do anything else.
This has worked in the past and no hardware has changed.

    Any idea's?

Noticed on google someone fixed a similar problem to me and is aparently a conflict with Nero.

They suggested changing the name on this file ( C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter ) to something else and lo and behold it's actually worked.
Although i would assume now that if i wanted to use Nero i would have to change it back?

Just set up a batch file which renames the file and then launches MovieMaker, and then renames it back again when MM gets closed.

If that final part doesn't work, set up another batch file to launch Nero, which renames the file back again.

Or alternatively, you could just remove Nero and put something decent on there.

To be fair, it probably won't have any effect on Nero until something is called for. It might be something related to one of the hundreds of bundled apps that comes with Nero now, rather than the Burning ROM itself.
