    Possible Firefox Menu Bug

On Firefox lately, I have noticed that when I click Bookmarks on the toolbar, for example, instead of the menu opening the page is bookmarked which is the first option in the menu. This has also happened when I right click on a page - the view page info window is displayed. This happens on two separate computers on both Ubuntu and Windows. This is obviously very annoying and it's happening very frequently. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone have a bugzilla account they could use to report this?

Err, I just realised I mis-spelt menu in the title. D'oh!
    (thanks for editing it)

I have this too, also when i click 'history', it sometimes skips back a page.

    Annoying, but not toooo frequent.

I have the latest version. I would think it was something else but I'm using it on different PCs and even different OSes.

It happens on the history menu for me too - I sometimes go to use recently closed tabs and it skips back.

    Re: Possible Firefox Munu Bug

Just wanted to add a workaround I found - instead of clicking the menu then quickly moving the mouse before the menu actually opens, click and hold the mouse button until the menu opens then release.

How long does the menu take to appear? It's instant on mine which is perhaps why I'm not able to reproduce this. Sounds like the slight lag is making FF think you're not releasing the mouse button until later than you actually are.

Hmm I've just had another idea what could be causing it - if you don't release the mouse button before moving it down the list. If you click history, for example, the keep holding the button the release it on back it will select back. It's a feature of the OS.

    Re: Possible Firefox Munu Bug

heh, you guys are lucky. My old Optical Mouse used to Double Click if you clicked once, mostly causing Firefox to close and then to close a window behind it, like a folder, the most frustrating thing ever.
