Need help reducing my Firefox security!

Yep, i want to reduce the security on my computer.

In short, when i click on the Hexus forums tab, i want it to open up with me logged in automatically, the same for facebook and ideally Windows Live (hotmail).

My girlfriends computer does this (she doesnt know how she did it), so i was hoping i could set it up the same on my computer?

I live with people i trust, and it is hardly my bank details we are talking about here!

I have slected the 'save my password everytime' option when i login for the first time after iv cleared everything, but this just saves my login name & password and doesnt actually login me in. Is there any way of making it so it does?

    cheers guys

edit; to save making a new thread; does anyone know a good spellchecking plugin for firefox aswell? One that checks the spelling of what your typing like it does in MSword etc?

For sites I want to stay logged in to I use cookieculler to protect my login cookies from being eaten.

    As for spell check: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3366

thank merple*, the spell checker is just what im after! . AFAIK my gf doesn't have anything installed, its all through firefox. I was just wondering if i was missing an 'auto-login' feature, rather then just a save password one. Will check out third party programs if i dont have any luck though!

*sure your name isnt spelt perplex, Merle, merlin or Merriill?

hrm, I dont think theres any settings in FF that will actually log in for you if you arent already logged in.
Your GF is probably just not clearing any cookies.
If you use CCleaner you will need to tell it which cookies you want to keep.

sometimes I am emrple, merpoke meroke or mer[;e
damn fingers not doing what they are told.
