The first picture shows how it looks like at the moment:
The second picture shows the corners being sharp instead of round:
Would you know of a tweak that can do that ?
Thank you

that 2nd picture is Windows XP.
Both screenshots are from Windows 7
On the desktop-> mouse button select menu -> personalize
under the "easy of access themes" there are some "square" options
Yeah, that's what I thought as well cause it's not worth the hussle really.
Look at this lengthy step-by-step guide just for a tiny change:
Rocket Science to change visual effects
Ah ... no, duh ! My first screenshot was taken from Windows 7 on my computer ... duh ?!
"Square" options .. ???
That does look quite good I think: >>> Aero Squared CS <<<
Well, I better leave it then ... thanks for the effort anyway.
I must have payed a bit more for my window version than you...
or your version is set up a bit different then mine
can you paste "Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization" in place of "Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center" or try putting in Personalization in the "search Control Panel" should give you a list of options on of which is change theme.
it might not be quite what you want as I don't think the transparency works with this option
EDIT sorry from my first post on the right hand use the side scroll bar to show the "easy of access themes"
It looks like you selected the "Easy of access center" at the bottom left.
what about that? is that 'sharp' enough?
pretty simple and easy to do![]()
When I go to "Personalization", I get this ...
... and clicking on "Display" results in ...

While looking a bit closer at what Windows has to offer, I noticed that you can actually change the width of windows borders:
Isn't that niffty ?Right click desktop and select Personalize › Window color › advanced appearance settings › Item: Border padding › default = 4
