    Folding's broke :(

Dunno what's going on, but my farms are having serious issues right now. Clients seem to be falling over left right and centre and it's obviously causing my output to suffer.

For now there's not a lot I can do. Think I'm going to have to reinstall the clients on all the machines.

My SMP client went belly up yesterday, but surprisingly i hit my highest PPD yet: 11,325 :/

Not bad for a single PC

    Re: Folding's broke :(

Thats good for a single machine. the 5 I am running are not getting much higher than that.

Looking at my figures, I may need to check some clients. Would appear a couple may of died.

    Re: Folding's broke :(

Eh... don't you use MacPro's too? I've just checked my boxes and found them all to be suffering

I'm getting all units for Projects 2677 and 2675 (perhaps others) failing with Corestatus = 1 and no other details. FahCore_a2.exe fires up for 8 cores and then quickly dies. Tried a re-install and got nothing. Oddly I have an older 10.4 machine around running 4 cores that seems to be happily processing the occasional similar project work unit.

If I figure anything out I'll let you know.

Yeah I'm primarily Mac based. Something's wrong as you say, it's just having none of it.

    Re: Folding's broke :(

Fixed! /etc/hosts issue again. Office had a scheduled power outage, so the DHCP'd IP had changed and getHostname() resolved to some stupid corporate "192-168-0-1-workstation.corporate.com" style of name. Grrr.

*sigh* Anyway I can get up and running again Might be able to put some more distance between me and all those who were catching me up!
