I just noticed for the first time that my laptop which has Ubuntu loaded on it starts up with a splash screen of "Edubuntu." Now, I'm absolutely 100% positive that I installed ubuntu on it, and not this other variation (which is meant to be used in schools... education ubuntu). I'm really confused now. When I download updates it's for Ubuntu. Everything looks and feels like Ubuntu.
Is it possible that I've actually been using an educational version of ubuntu for the past year without realising it?
