    AV for win server 08?

I'm using win server 08 (standard) on my main pc and I'm in need of a decent AV for it, finding one that works on it seems hard to impossible without spending a fortune

So anyone know of anything decent that does not cost the earth?
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

I think Eset do a version of NOD32 for server builds?

Yes their business edition is for servers/workstations, however its a minimal 5 user license

This is the downside to using a server OS as a desktop, you need to buy server related products for them

Clamwin? Depends on if you only need scheduled scans (which it does) or if you need on-access (which it doesn't)

    Vipre
    same company that makes Counterspy.
£30 for 1 user 1 year license and works on Server operating systems including server 2008
for £50a year you can get a home license which allows installation of vipre on all computers in a home.

its about the only cheap option for a single license.
f-prot do deal for 5 computers for roughly £15 ($30) a year and works on server 2008.
May as well trial both, one at a time and see what you prefer.

Vipre looks good, NOD32 and Kaspersky cost way to much for servers.
