Win7 - Memory size and usage

I have 3 GB installed but for some reason, it says 2GB and 1 GB not usable - any one else experienced this?

Buggered memory? However I'd imagine you'd have noticed the same in your previous OS. Might be worth a memtest anyway.
Or are you using a graphics card with stupid amounts of ram? (2gb+)

graphics is a measley 128MB
