    HTPC ITX build for fun

    Hi,

    here's my parts so far..

    Build #1..

Compucase Mini ITX Case - With 120W PSU and Front panel USB2.0 HD Audio £44.99inc vat
Zotac GeForce 9300-ITX WiFi Socket 775 DDR2 onboard VGA DVI HDMI ITX Motherboard * £115.00inc vat
    Intel Celeron D 347 3.06GHz Socket 775 533MHz 512KB L2 Cache OEM Processor * £29.85inc vat
    Crucial 2GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Ballistix Memory CL4 2.0V £18.54inc vat

    £208.38 - all from ebuyer.com

Good deal I think, my only concern is would there be enough airflow for this and higher chips like Core 2 Duo?

    Mm I think I need a bigger case .

I'd be tempted to change for a lower clock speed better cpu, like a core 2 duo!

i went for an e5200 over the celly/c2d chips, my thread was here, i still need to buy the bluray drive and then i'll be all set...

you'll prolly want to lob a slim line drive in there (£40ish for a dvd writer, more if you want bluray) and a 500/1tb harddrive, unless you're hoping to stream everything off another computer?
