Are there any plugins which add the sort of functionality that the likes of Songbird and Winamp have?

To be honest, I've never used MP for music. I use my Squeezeboxes for that (saves having the TV on just to listen to something).
I'm planning on using MP for music when I get my setup built/bought. Also interested in this.
