    Partition CD

I want to partition up my HDD before I install win 7 so that I don't get the 100meg system partition (I wouldn't usually mind but I want 4 partitions), unfortunately I don't have any other OS discs around, what's the best thing I can burn to a cd to boot up with and partition the hard drive? Had a search on here but didn't find anything conclusive.

    Re: Partition CD

Any number of Linux LiveCDs can do this. The GParted LiveCD, for example, is pretty easy to use.

Another vote for GParted here, I use it all the time and it is very good. Even resized NTFS partitions with data on them without any corruption etc.

Also parted magic, which is basically the same thing.
