    Coding & Music

    So I don't know if music shares any derivation with muse, but sometimes i find after a while i get brain freeze, but music is often the perfect cure.

    At my last job the desk head would often tell me to stick my plugs in if I wasn't typing quickly for a while. (sitting oppersite the desk head is a 'demanding' experiance).

    Then when i was unhappy with my promotion, I bought a pair of noise canceling headphones, and had the mature fu attitude to anyone who was aduatious enough to demand interactions with me.

    But now I found i was staring at a design flaw in my otherwise cunning matrix navigation code, put on the headphones, musicovery.com and i get tina cusions, just what the code doctor ordered. There is something about that simple stuff that gets you coding.

    Its quite odd, because when doing maths, i always find classical music really helps relax me, but for code, a bit of generic trance seams to hit the spot.

    I code best when listening to my all Rush mix tape.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I listen to Instrumental Rock while I'm coding at work, it's good background music and isn't too distracting.

    I listen to music while coding at work because it means I don't get distracted by other people talking to each other as often.
