I have a system that has raid 0, but want to purchase a single external drive and clone the raid 0.
Is this possible with an noob easy application? I remember using a program called ghost disk many years ago, but that was single to single drive.

You're a good example of why some animals eat their young
I would've thought Norton Ghost (or similar drive imaging program) would work fine for this, since the RAID array is essentially a single disk. Haven't used any of these programs in years though, so I'll leave it for someone else to recomend one, may even be a free alternative nowdays.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
Your raid array should appear as a single logical drive, so you should be able to use any of the usual cloning tools to clone it to another (logical or physical) drive.

Ahhh. Thanks for the replies. I assumed it would be alot more complicated.
So you think it would work, and then once having this cloned external drive, I would be able to removed the old drives and boot up with the cloned unit?

Yeah should work fine.
