I have another awesome (and very tiny) app for handling link/shortcut desktop sprawl, rm/del.

Been using the beta for a few months now, a very handy bit of software and really recommend it

Re: cool app for handling multiple icons on desktop

I used to be a lover of Stardock software, back in the Win98 days but not used them for a while. Thanks for the headsup! Will do wonders on my work box.

Re: cool app for handling multiple icons on desktop

Think I might be getting that if it is true that Win7 has dropped the classic interface....

I was just thinking about doing my first Windows upgrade since 2000 on my remaining Windows based computer - maybe not...

I must say that is quite a nice little app, I think I shall save this and add it to seven when mine arrives in the post in October.

A cute little app. If you are tired of trying to organize desktop icons, you could also try Launchy <http://www.launchy.net/>. I almost never click on an icon or the start menu now that I use it.

Yes! It's quite funny to see Program Manager (albeit in flashy clothes) now being described as a "must-have Windows 7 utility."

I guess it just shows that not all change is progress...

Oh yeah I never clocked that the first time round... and you are right. OMG I just found a 3.1 desktop... I remember using this when I was a teenager, how far we have come in technology these days is amazing.
