    Win7 RC -> Win7 Home Premium?

    Can you just enter the licence key of H.P. version on top of the R.C., and get a working install?

    Am currently running WinXP, and have preordered Win7 H.P. from Play whilst they all had their great offers on a month ago. I see that it's going to be sent towards the end of October.

    In the meantime, i was thinking about installing Win7 R.C., however i really dont want to install again once the full fat version comes out (all my games and apps are the pain in the backside, more than the OS install itself).

    As I understand it you CANNOT upgrade from the rc - you can only do a fresh install, So TBH I am waiting till my Full copy arrives

    Even if you can, just don't... I tried upgrading through pre-retail versions of Windows 7, and just like most other OS I have tried this with just ended up with a dog-slow mess that barely worked.

    Install from fresh. Every time.
