Yes.
Windows 7 is very much worth it, even the beta and RC were very nice and the RTM is even nicer

Win 95 hooray, win 98 ok, win 98 SE hooray, Win ME boo, Win XP hooray, Vista Boo, Win 7 hooray.
I predict the next windows will be slated and not worth upgrading too and then the one after that
will be praised etc
I have gone for 7 as I expect it to last longer so it worth getting the cheap retail versions now

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
And there are rumors of windows 8 being in the works

Right, IMO too the 7 RC seems much lighter and quicker than Vista...but I do not think Vista has been bad OS since SP1 has been introduced. It does not cause me any troubles now.. the driver problems have never really affected me as I try to buy hardware from reputable manufacturers and replace it relatively often (but I am definitely not the early adopter ,see my rig)
+1
Been using the RC full time since it came out, love it. As directhex puts it, its a more polished product. It feels more complete than vista did when I first got that. Has some very nice new features and is more scalable than vista.
I've pre-ordered it so am getting a nice discount as well![]()

i hated vista as nothing worked on it, but win7 works perfectly. I got so used to it as i was using the beta and RC as my main OS. I startedto panic at the thought of it actually expireing and i panic pre order it asap when i was avalible.
dont know how will i ever cope of going back to XP....no chance, they even made the old games like BF2 to run seemlessly on it, when it had majour issues on vista
