    HandBrake - Ripping subtitles?

    Hi guys, me again

In the lead up to building me a HTPC, ive decided to burn all my DVD's on my hard drive to make a movie's library.

Ive been using Handbrake to rip my movies from DVD to single MKV files which works no hassle. In Handbrake ive been ripping just the movie itself (no added extras or anything) the 5.1 audio stream and also the subtitles. However, it seems that there is no option to toggle the subtitles on/off when viewing the movie, as they (i think) are hard burned into the video stream.

Does anyone know of any way to fix this so that there is a option to switch them on/off? (possibly using Handbrake)

    Cheers dudes

    Re: HandBrake - Ripping subtitles?

Sorry, but however daft or unreasonable it might seem to be, copying DVDs is still illegal in the UK, even if you are ripping your own discs. Discussing the mechanics of how to do it, or what tools to use, is not something we allow.
