    Adobe Premiere Pro Keyframes/Animation

    Hi,

I need help with a slight problem that's driving my crazy.

All I want to do is animate a photo. I want the photo to start out of the frame, slide in, slow down and continue to slide in and then stop but inbetween the second and third keyframes the photo starts to slide back the other way. I think it's something to do with keyframe interpolation. I just want to turn off all the fancy keyframe interpolation functions so there's no interferrence. I can adjust the icons manually but its very difficult. The icons affect a graph which can be controlled by 2 sets of numbers and the velocity all of which you see when you expand the Motion and then the Position triangles. Various broken lines and pointers appear on the image that Im trying to animate when I click on the 'stopwatch' icon in the effects controls panel after i expand 'Motion' and 'Position'

I set the horizontal position value to 800 but it goes to around 686 and then goes back to 800. I just want it to go to 800 and then stop...

There's a kind of 'loop' which pulls the image back the other way that can be dragged manually but it's messy, time consuming and frustrating. Is there any way to get rid of all this?

    Pleeeeeease help, it's so frustrating

I've figured this one out - something called the 'boomerang effect'.
