    Windows appears to be Unstable

Hey guys, I just reinstalled windows yesterday due to it needing a good clean and just because partially i had nothing else to do lol.
However on this fresh install, windows seems a tad unstable, windows media player tends to crash frequently, Internet Explorer is unstable in itself as well as some other weird goings on while using windows... do u think these are temporary glitches or something worth reinstalling to fix?

Since you just formatted, then you could try doing it again since you wouldn't lose too much.

Check the temperatures on your PC as well, and consider running Memtest and Prime95 for a bit.

    Hope this helps

The prob might be that you have missed out on all the patches that you should have.

Ive just reinstalled windows and scanned for viruses... all clean. The instability seems to have stopped now and all is hunky dory, the only program still a tad prone to crashes is windows media player 9, but the only things changed is my Audigy 2 back to my Aureon 5.1 Fun and a new set of speakers, surely speakers wouldnt do the damage to a windows program?
