Win 7 x64 and Kaspersky (KIS 2010)

Anyone else having issues with Win 7 x64 and KIS 2010 or am I just unlucky?

Not only is the Windows Experience Index score wotsit now non-functional but occassionally, typically on boot, "avp.exe" has a bit of a moment and disappears up it's own backside. I'm absolutely convinced it's KIS2010 to blame as everything was sweet as a nut before I installed it - and removal of it (hey, I was bored) seems to allow the WEI score thing to work again. Obviously removal of it means avp.exe goes away too.

I'm using the only version (736) said to fully support Win 7 but if this is "fully supports", I dread to think what partial or flaky support might look like.

I've been using both together since the Technet release of Win 7 came out in August - the only problem I had was with Youtube videos stopping if you'd resumed from hibernation - it's been fine for me for a while now, though.

I'm running it with 3 or 4 Win 7 64 bit machines, no major issues for me, Windows ratings all work fine.. I've not been to the Kaspersky forums for a while but I seem to remember some were having troubles early on.

I stopped using it and switch to windows firewall and security essentials due to other issues I was getting with it.

I really don't think it's ready yet.

I'm using the version you mention and Home Premium 64bit (only for 1 day so far) btu I've not noticed any problems so far

WEI works on my desktop but doesnt on my laptop. avp doesn't disappear thou
what build are you running?
im using 9.0.0.736 on both my desktop and laptop.
